{Tuesday Tip} Perfect Flavored Coffee

We love coffee around here probably more than we should. If you’ve been to one of our events you know we keep it coming and love every sip. It’s pretty serious. And while I love a treat from Starbucks every now and then (I’m talking to you Salted Carmel Mocha) I really don’t care for flavored coffee (now I’m talking to you French Vanilla beans). BUT I love a little extra hint of flavor here and there and I have a trick to make it perfectly! 

 

Have you ever tried to sprinkle a little cinnamon in your cup of coffee and it just floats to the top and turns to sludge? Not cute :) The best way to add that flavor is to sprinkle it to the grounds before you brew. One shake of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice or whatever you life over the top of the grounds before you turn it on to brew and the flavor is just enough and all throughout the pot not sitting on top. 

 

Have you eve done this? I know it’s not rocket science but its one of those things that I share and it’s like LIGHTBULB to so many people I’m sharing to the masses here.

PS this obviously won’t work for KCups so please share your tips for those if have them
