Christmas Prep Series...
Let’s be honest. Christmas is the most magical time of year…. but it is also the most stressful. No matter how hard we try to focus on the real spirit of Christmas, the little things can be so loud and stressful that they cancel out everything that is good and holy . We can’t avoid all the holi-drama but I believe there are a few things we can do early that will make take a ton of the stress out of it and allow us to savor the season. One Room Challenge: Week Two

The Power of Paint I’m all for dark colors… even in small spaces, but the gold was not only dated but sucking all the light and life out of the space. Throw in...
Homeschool... What we learned about learning at home
As we start our second year of homeschool, I know I still have a lot to learn, but I also feel like I have a life experience graduate degree in the subject. This may seem like a bit of a departure from our normal topics here but I really wanted to share what we have learned so that it might help anyone whether they formally decide to homeschool or even just have kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews or friends they want to support in learning at home. So here are a few truths we’ve learned about homeschooling…. 1. If a kid...
