Get your stuff done... for real people

Get your stuff done... for real people

It’s been a little busy lately. Nothing too crazy but when you’re an extreme introvert and need downtime to function, a heavy to do list can be very tiring. I don’t share this to complain but because most of you are probably in the same boat.  We have a tendency to make a simple goal into something too big. Or even if it’s small, we think of all the things we should do instead but I think we can achieve these goals. We can get those things done.  So I made a deal with myself last week and it worked....

Hire a Designer... could i do that?

Hire a Designer... could i do that?

Some of us would never dream of hiring someone to help us design our homes. It just seems like one of those things we should take care of ourselves. Here’s what I did and why this design works.  1. Scale: 9 times out...

Your Home is Beautiful (Repost)

Your Home is Beautiful (Repost)

This was originally  posted in October 2018 but it still rings true so I'm re-sharing today.    We live in a crazy world. Just a few years ago you had to pick up a physical magazine in your hand to get decor inspiration. We could look at gorgeous space after gorgeous space and feel good about taking a few items of inspiration to our own homes, but not getting too stressed out because hello, only the people in magazines live like that! I even remember going to the real library to check out actual books for my Interior Design classes!  ...
